Ending Section Rewrote

I normally don't bother with devlogs, especially for stories that I have already uploaded as the only updates I'm likely to do are fixing typos. However I was thinking about this story quite a bit and I found I wasn't overly happy about how the last section sounded. It felt a bit rushed and made the protagonist overly passive (Felicity isn't exactly an action hero but it was strange for her to just give up that quickly). So I ended up rewriting it (adding nearly another 1000 words to this, wow!) and thought I should let you know as I have seen that 2 people already downloaded the story. Now I should say that this doesn't change the ending at all nor the overall plot, but I do think this version reads much better.

If you have already read the story I would be interested to know 1) what you thought about it in the first place and 2) if you agree that this version is better or if you preferred the original.
