Strings Above, Cloth Below

Dressed for a show with no stage in sight, Felicity wakes in a strange and colourful building. Limbs bound by string and a note calling her a marionette are the only clues to her new surroundings. And while she seeks freedom from above, danger lurks below.

This ended up being way longer than expected, especially after editing. 

Can't remember exactly what inspired this (think it could be a few things) but I had a lot of fun writing it. I love puppets in general and I've had some story ideas for a while focusing on the contrast of a marionette and a hand puppet. Of course me being me it had to go creepy and violent at some point (maybe one day I'll be nice to one of these horror protagonists).
